3:18 a.m. A man was breaking into a vehicle parked in the 2900 block of Main Avenue.

Thursday

1:03 a.m. Someone was assaulted at a bar in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

2:47 a.m. An intoxicated man was pushing people and trying to start a fight at a restaurant in the 600 block of Camino del Rio.

1:33 p.m. A bear got into a trash can in the 800 block of Goeglein Gulch Road.

4:12 p.m. Two men were fighting at Town Plaza.

6:17 p.m. A woman punched an employee at a bar in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

8:36 p.m. A drunken man refused to leave Greenmount Cemetery before the fireworks.

8:56 p.m. A man was kicking a dog in the 3100 block of Main Avenue.

9:24 p.m. People were lighting Roman candle fireworks in the baseball field near the Durango Community Recreation Center.

10:02 p.m. A man was waving a knife near the intersection of 18th Street and Main Avenue.

Wednesday

11:01 a.m. Someone tried to rob a business in the 1200 block of Carbon Junction.

2:50 p.m. A woman was pacing in the street in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

4:53 p.m. Someone stole a bicycle from Albertsons.

4:54 p.m. A vehicle hit a 20-year-old man on a bicycle in the 1400 block of East Third Avenue.

6:58 p.m. A man and a woman were fighting in the 500 block of East Fourth Avenue.

9:04 p.m. A woman stole a case of beer from a business in the 2500 block of Main Avenue.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 10 calls Wednesday, 15 calls Thursday and at least two calls Friday morning, including a swiftwater rescue and a building fire.
