The Ignacio 9Health Fair is being held again from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28. The location is the Ignacio High School, east entrance.
Blood chemistry screening ($35) is available, along with many other screenings. They include the prostate specific antigen screening for $35; hemoglobin A1c diabetes screening for $35; vitamin B12 screening, $20; blood count screening, $25; vitamin D screening, $50; colon cancer screening kit, $30; testosterone screening, $40.
Online registration is available at https://www.9healthfair.org/health-fairs/find-a-fair. Fasting is not mandatory although it is highly recommended to fast for at least 12 hours to improve the validity of screening results. Fasting is recommended only for those who do not have health issues.

There is no health fair this year in Bayfield, so this will be the public's last opportunity to attend a health fair in Southwest Colorado.
