La Plata Electric Association recently announced that two employees have changed roles.
Joel Mann was promoted to lead meter reader collector. Mann will oversee the meter reader collector team, which troubleshoots, handles collections, and is responsible for replacing meters and monitoring meter readings. Mann joined LPEA in 2007, and previously worked for U.S. West and Western Energy Services of Durango.
Chris Edmondson has moved from his position as meter reader collector to meter technician, where he will work with the advanced metering infrastructure. Edmondson joined LPEA in 2014 from a 20-year career with the Raton Police Department in New Mexico.
