Tuesdays, 2 p.m.: Baby Storytime. For infants to 18 months. Music, stories, fingerplays, counting rhymes and playtime. Babies should bring their parents or caregivers.
Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.: Toddler Storytime. Stories, songs, rhymes and other fun activities for children ages 2-3. Storytime lasts about 30 minutes with a craft afterwards.

July 16, 6 p.m.: Off Trail Wilderness Navigation and Staying Found. This course will help you successfully navigate off trail, regardless of the weather, and make adjustments because of avalanche danger, high water and other formidable obstacles. July 18, 1 p.m.: T(w)een Time: Teen Iron Chef. Battle head-to-head with other teens to create a small appetizer, entree and dessert. Prizes for the winning team and runners-up. Limited to the first 24 people. Ages 11–17.
July 19, 1 p.m.: Kids’ Club: Moon Landers. Work as a team to design, build and test a NASA-worthy lander that can deliver astronauts safely on the moon. Ages 5-12.

July 20, 1 p.m.: Summer STREAM Final Party. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing. The original landing footage will be projected on the big screen. Launch rockets and have fun with hands-on science experiments and arts and crafts projects. Bring a towel and swimsuit for the water features. Free hot dogs and snacks for all. STREAM program prizes with be drawn for children, teens and adults.

A gathering of elder men and women who understand that a lifetime of experience, lessons learned and knowledge gained, gives them wisdom worth sharing with others. July 25, 5:45 p.m.: Living Room Conversations: Freedom. Freedom is a key concept in America’s founding documents, but there are legitimate differing interpretations of what freedom means. Conversations increase understanding, reveal common ground and allow discussion of possible solutions.
July 28, 1 p.m.: Stillwater Musical BBQ in the Park. Music provided by adult bands from Stillwater Music, with a special performance from the Stillwater Telluride All Stars project. Barbecue, lunch, beer and wine available for purchase.
August 1, 7 p.m.: Community Acoustic Music Jam. Open to all levels and ages. The jam provides musicians a chance to learn, share and enjoy playing music with others in an informal setting. Bring a song to lead or play along.

July 20, 11 a.m.: Space Shuttle Program. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing, the library will be hosting Lucinda Lounge, sister of the late astronaut John M. Lounge. Lucinda will share photos, memorabilia and objects that went into space from her brother’s three shuttle missions. All ages welcome.
