I have had the pleasure of working alongside Melissa Youssef on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for the City of Durango, and wholeheartedly believe she would make a great councilwoman for our burgeoning city.
Although it’s a volunteer board, Melissa worked tirelessly to develop strategies and to act as a voice for the citizens of Durango. She routinely went above and beyond what was asked of her by the position, and took it upon herself to make a positive impact on our community.
Her work ethic, attentiveness, and thoughtful nature are the embodiment of what makes our town such an incredible place to live. This amazing woman has been working for years, mostly behind the scenes, to take care of the place we all call home.
Through her commitment to the parks board and with Trails 2000, Melissa has a proven record of recognizing and valuing the importance of protecting and preserving our outdoor amenities. Having people on our city council who live and breathe Durango is important to me. If it’s important to you, too, I urge you to vote for Melissa Youssef for Durango City Council.
