Bayfield Early Education Programs will hold a registration day for 3- and 4-year-old children and parents from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 28 at the school, 645 Fox Farm Circle.
Teachers and staff will be available to answer questions and give tours of classrooms.
Twenty Colorado Preschool Program slots are available and registration costs $50. Registration for 4-year-olds will take priority, and the first 3-year-olds to register will be considered after 4-year-old registration is full. Placements will be determined Oct. 1.
Those who plan to register are asked to complete a registration packet before Friday.

Parents of 4-year-olds with risk factors for learning should complete the Colorado Preschool Program form to be interviewed by the BEEP director and screened according to the ASQ assessment tool.
Parents of children with speech, hearing or other special needs should call the San Juan Board of Cooperative Educational Services at 247-3261 to have their child evaluated before the school year starts.
