A group of local Democrats, The Club – La Plata Dems on the Move, will hold its July luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. July 10 at the DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio.
Colorado State Rep. Barbara McLachlan will give a presentation called “Funding Our Colorado Schools.” McLachlan will discuss funding shortages in Colorado schools and initiatives to support students and educators. Attendees can ask questions after the talk.
Tickets are $20 and must be purchased by Thursday.
