I had to laugh. Here’s a guy who was part of the problem in making the Herald the left-wing source of media in Durango and he assures us that the problem is “right-wing, fact-free gasbags.” That’s great, but can anyone on the Herald point me to counter-balancing stories on the negative impacts of illegal immigration in this area that might offset the many pro-illegal immigrant stories?
Can someone point me to counter-balancing stories about climate change that offset the many failed predictions of (Associated Press reporter) Seth Borenstein that have been printed? Remember that Borenstein is an admitted climate change activist, yet he writes news stories printed in the Herald.
Can someone point me to a Republican president who ever received the warm accolades that a Democratic president received from the Herald?
The Herald’s main outside sources, the Associated Press, The New York Times and the Washington Post have all been caught in numerous scandals where they have taken strong partisan, liberal positions, including secretly campaigning for Hillary Clinton. Why has the Herald never publicly discussed this problem of long-proven media bias, in this day and time, opting rather to pretend via sycophants like Ohman that the media is actually objective?
Why not do what an ombudsman at The New York Times did and simply admit, “Yes, we are a liberal paper”?
