Animas High School sophomores in Ally Johnson’s humanities class will host “The Truth of War Exhibition” from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the school, 271 Twin Buttes Ave.
The exhibition will immerse visitors in the Vietnam War era and allow them to explore the controversial conflict and its lasting impacts. The exhibits are based on student readings of The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien, analyses of primary sources such as Pentagon Papers, interviews with veterans and the new Ken Burns documentary series.
