There are millions of reasons I am voting for Diane Mitsch Bush as Colorado’s Third Congressional District representative – Rep. Scott Tipton’s support of the NRA, his abysmal track record on protecting public lands, his support of Trump, to name a few.
But the bottom line is that I am deeply disappointed in Tipton’s communication. I’ve tried to reach him to voice my concerns, and I have received no response back. No town hall meetings with the voters in the Durango area, no response to emails and faxes, without so much as a robo-reply. How would I even know if he’s aware that he is representing citizens of Southwest Colorado?
I want someone who will seek input from constituents and clearly tell us where they stand, who will acknowledge correspondence, who will work at finding out what the people of our area need. I’m voting for Mitsch Bush because I believe she will truly represent our needs.
