Once upon a time in a land called America, law was dedicated to the safety of its citizens, not “tolerance” of criminals.
We enforced the laws set down in our Constitution and Bill of Rights to protect our citizens, our nation, our hard-fought way of life.
Our upbringing included radical ideas like family first, hard work, responsibility, truth, morals, values, respect, civility, treating one another as we would be treated, and listening, not shouting down. Mass shootings were unheard of. Yet, most homes had guns – they were tools.
We acknowledged the only real moral source, the living God who guided us, as imperfect as we are; but he’s been summarily kicked out. We recognized that evil existed. Now, this once-strong nation has been turned into a war zone by those intent on re-creating it in their own image.
Our justice system is broken, we have a weaponized FBI used to spy on Americans. Many schools are little more than propaganda centers. Politicians, local and national, serve only their own personal agendas. Culture is whatever you “want it to be.” Depression followed by suicides are off the charts – but yet it’s all about guns?
Perhaps the sun has set on America, the land of the free and home of the brave.
Long live America.
