4:54 a.m. Someone reported a BB or bullet hole in a windshield in the 6600 block of County Road 510.

Sunday

10:28 a.m. An accidental firearm injury was reported in the area of Bayfield Parkway.

1:05 p.m. A man on a bicycle was threatening people with a machete in the 900 block of Roosa Avenue.

3:11 p.m. A search and rescue for a 50-year-old man and 17-year-old boy took place in the area of Cascade Creek.

Saturday

2:06 p.m. Someone was shooting and bullets were ricocheting and hit someone’s barn in the 3600 block of County Road 119.

3:48 p.m. A 12-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle and suffered injuries to his leg in the 34300 block of U.S. Highway 160 east.

5:48 p.m. Someone was breaking into mailboxes in the 900 block of County Road 207.

8:33 p.m. Someone reported that he met a girl who turned out to be a man in the area of U.S. Highway 550 north.

10:32 p.m. A rollover vehicle crash with injuries occurred in the 1300 block of County Road 128.

Friday

1:12 p.m. A burglary occurred in the 500 block of County Road 233.

2:08 p.m. A bike was stolen in the 1700 block of Florida Road (County Road 240).

9:49 p.m. Someone was cutting down trees and had an open fire in La Plata Canyon.

Thursday

5:08 p.m. Someone was arrested on suspicion of harassment in the 6500 block of County Road 501.

7:17 p.m. Someone heard “a whole clip” being fired multiple times in the 4000 block of Lightner Creek Road (County Road 207).

Wednesday

2:57 p.m. Someone was threatened by a woman for riding four-wheelers on the road in the 400 block of Colorado Highway 172.

8:01 p.m. A man knocked on someone’s door then hid in a barn from the people who were looking for him in the 11200 block of U.S. Highway 550 south.

Durango Fire

Firefighters and medics responded to 63 calls Wednesday through Monday morning, including 30 emergency medical service calls, three unauthorized burnings, a trash fire, two smoke scares, a vehicle fire, two gas leaks, a flammable liquid spill, a structure fire and five car crashes.
