The Rotary Club of Durango will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Strater Hotel, 699 Main Ave.
Richard Schleeter with La Plata County Veteran’s Services will speak. Part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, the county Veteran’s Service Office provides prevention, protection, advocacy and support to veterans and their families to maximize quality of life and opportunities. It offers veterans help with benefits for disability, pension, education and more.
The county Veteran’s Service Office, with the Durango Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, is located at 1970 East Third Ave., Suite 102.
The meeting is free and open to all.
