I’m voting for Marsha Porter-Norton for La Plata County commissioner from District 2. I have been friends with her for over 20 years, and we worked together for five years. She is far and above the most qualified and prepared to serve.
One of her priorities is using her leadership skills to help young families, workers and seniors on fixed incomes get more affordable housing. She also wants to grow good jobs, ones that families can live on. She doesn’t just talk about problems: She studies the issues, talks to all sides and develops specific proposals. She is not all hat and no cattle!
