Rumble Russell, rumble

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson can do a bit of everything, and he showed it to the world again Monday night against the Washington Redskins. He rushed for a career-high 122 yards and a touchdown, and the Seahawks overcame more than a dozen penalties – including three that wiped out apparent touchdowns by Percy Harvin – in a 27-17 victory over Washington. Wilson completed 18-of-24 passes for 201 yards and two more scores for the Seahawks, who displayed an uncharacteristic lack of crispness coming off their bye. Seattle (3-1) is an NFL-best 21-8 on Monday nights, including nine consecutive wins. The team is 11-1 in prime time under head coach Pete Carroll. Washington (1-4) has dropped seven consecutive prime-time games.
