SWCAHEC hosts mask competition

Southwestern Colorado Area Health Education Center, a nonprofit organization that supports community health and health education, is rolling out a Halloween Mask Design Contest on Facebook to encourage safe trick-or-treating and a COVID-19-safe Halloween.

As part of its CARES ACT Funding, SWCAHEC is educating the public about the importance of stopping the spread of COVID-19 through mask education.

Photo submissions will be judged on the funniest, scariest and most creative mask. Winners will receive a gift card to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for each category. First prize is a $15 gift card and second prize is a $10 gift card.

Enter by submitting a photo of a decorated mask being worn, and direct message www.Facebook.com/swcahec or email pathways@swcahec.org along with your name and email. Anyone is eligible to enter the contest through Oct. 25. Winners will be announced Oct.28 on SWCAHEC’s Facebook page.
