I would like to thank all the trades who were involved with the ADA compliant renovation for Lt. Cmdr. Brendan Pederson, who served 13 years in the US Navy, six of those years flying F/A-18 Hornets off U.S. aircraft carriers.
You, sir, are an inspiration and a hero and it was an honor to create a usable, safe environment for you. We couldn’t have done it in the short time frame that we had without all the trades making room in their schedules and donating time and materials. It truly was a team effort and warmed my heart to see how many individuals wanted to jump in and help a veteran in need.
I’d like to thank the following businesses for their contributions: Jake and his incredible installers with Rock Solid Granite; Will and his amazing designers at The Tile & Carpet Store of Durango; Zack and Stephanie at Furguson’s Plumbing Supply; Jerry and his awesome crew at Sun Glass Durango; The lighting designers at Light Art of Durango; Robin and crew at Home Depot Pro Desk; Todd with Renaissance Carpentry; Keith and crew with Tile Plus; Karen Kots, who despite losing her son, Capt. Michael Kots, helped with the final clean; Tony Crespo and Ty Parker, your help throughout was invaluable, your professional integrity and willingness to help a family in crisis is greatly appreciated and is what makes this county a special place to live.
God bless America,
Rick Huber, High Country Homes
