The Durango Nordic Center will hold a New Year’s Eve full moon party from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 31 at Purgatory Resort, 1 Skier Place.
The family event will give attendees a view of the Needle Mountains as the sun goes down and the opportunity to watch the full moon rise before 2018 arrives.
S’mores over the campfire; refreshments from Ska Brewing Co., Animas Chocolate Co. and Coca-Cola; and soups and pastries from Bread will be featured.
Admission is $15 for adults and free for kids.
Proceeds go to the Durango Nordic Center snowcat fundraiser.
