The Colorado Department of Transportation will conduct paving operations next week on U.S. Highway 550 south of Durango near Bondad.
Crews will repave the road at the intersection of Highway 550 and La Plata County Road 310, about 4½ miles north of the New Mexico state line.
From Monday to Thursday, drivers will encounter one-lane, alternating traffic with guiding by flagging personnel. Travelers should be prepared for full traffic stops with delays of up to 15 minutes.
CDOT urges drivers to watch for maintenance workers and equipment in the work zone. Use slow speeds and obey all signage.
