The city of Durango will host Durango Grit Gatherings from 4 to 7 p.m. Fridays in the closed areas between Ninth Street and 10th Street, from Feb. 19 to March 12.
Attendees are encouraged to pick up takeout from a restaurant and enjoy live music at tables set up in the closed area. QR codes will be placed on tables to provide easy access to menus from restaurants on Main Avenue. Alcoholic drinks will not be permitted in the gathering area.
If inclement weather with precipitation is expected, the Friday Gathering will be postponed or canceled. Updates will be posted on city of Durango social media channels.
The gatherings are also supported by Local First and the Business Improvement District.
