Silverton resident Melanie Russek was hired part-time as San Juan economic development/recovery coordinator. The position is funded by the Economic Development Administration, Region 9 Economic Development District, the town of Silverton, San Juan County, and Silverton Schools, and will assist businesses, strengthen community partnerships, increase resiliency and diversify the San Juan County economy.
