Local Cub Scout troops will host a Join Night at Viles Park for boys and girls interested in scouting.
Boys and girls in the Durango area are invited to learning about the Cub Scout program from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 7 at Viles Park, 245 East Park Ave.
At Join Night, parents can learn about the benefits of scouting, and boys and girls grades kindergarten through fifth grade can learn what scouting is all about.
Stop by the events for an interactive packet. Bring the completed “secret message” for a chance to win a free Cub Scout uniform shirt.
