Obsidian Network launches Think Local card

Obsidian Network recently launched its “Think Local” card, which gives La Plata County residents a way to support the community and earn rewards through shopping at businesses and donating to nonprofits in the Durango area.

Residents can fund the card through linking it to their bank account, and an added “Round Up” feature encourages cardholders to donate to local nonprofits. Cardholders can opt to round up purchases to 25 cents, 50 cents or $1, and Obsidian will send the remaining balance to selected nonprofits.

Think Local cards, issued by Central Bank of Kansas City, can be used at establishments that accept Discover credit card payments.

To sign up for the promotion, visit www.durango.thinklocalcard.com.
