LEAP hires program manager

The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program recently named Theresa Kullen as program manager.

Having worked for 14 years at the LEAP office in Boulder County, Kullen, in her new position, will increase enrollment, reduce barriers and ensure the program is accessible to qualified Colorado residents.

She has a background in human services and helped people gain access to basic needs, managed a homeless shelter and provided residential support to disabled residents.

The LEAP program runs from November 1 to April 30 each year. This year, 84,000 applications have been received, with more than 64,000 approved for benefits. The average benefit is approximately $337. For more information, visit https://bit.ly/2FhiS6h.
