The 416 Fire burns at Hermosa Cliffs Wednesday next to U.S. Highway 550. The fire has consumed more than 22,000 acres, as of Monday morning.
A community prayer for firefighters and those displaced by the 416 Fire will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at First United Methodist Church, 2917 Aspen Drive.
All are invited to attend the event and join a time for prayer and encouragement during the anxiety and fear caused by the fire.
The Yellow Carrot will provide food after the service. For those who are unable to attend the event, it will be live-streamed online at live.fumcdurango.org.
