The Helping Hand Community Service Committee of the Durango Area Association of Realtors is now accepting scholarship applications.
The criteria are:
Must be a current graduating senior from high schools in La Plata or San Juan counties or a current GED graduate of a state-approved GED program based in these counties. Must be pursuing a college or technical degree from a state-approved program.Must have at least a 3.0 grade point average.Preference will be given to those who can validate need for financial assistance.
Applications may be obtained by emailing the DAAR staff at staff@durangoassnofrealtors.com with the subject line 2018 Scholarship Application, or by contacting a high school guidance counselor. Application deadline is April 30. Recipients will be notified after May 8.
