San Juan College Planetarium’s Skywatch Report will host the first virtual AstroFriday featuring “The Astronomy of Harry Potter” at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Friday via Zoom.
Astronomical objects will be identified whose names appear in the popular Harry Potter series of books and movies by J.K. Rowling.
Participants will learn many of the characters’ names in the series which have astronomical origins, as well as learn to locate them in the real sky.
