The Bayfield Spring Festival is April 20 this year, and it promises to be a great event for the whole family.
The day starts with the Easter Egg Scramble 5K/1K. What makes the race unique is that an Easter egg hunt is incorporated along the 5K course. Register at Bayfield Town Hall or mail registration forms to P.O. Box 80, Bayfield, CO 81122. To be guaranteed a race shirt, register by the early registration deadline of April 5. Race day registration and check-in opens at 8 a.m. at the Pine River Senior Center, 111 W South St.
After the race, there is a free barbecue in the park, activities, Easter Egg Hunt prizes and raffles, bouncy house and much more.
Of course, the Easter Bunny will be on hand to help kick off the unbelievably giant Easter Egg Hunt for children under 10 years old.
