Salvation Army remains on standby

The Salvation Army recently announced that, as firefighting efforts continue, its emergency services crew will remain on standby to provide food, hydration and spiritual care to first responders and residents impacted by the 416 Fire.

According to a Friday news release, 320 meals and 40 sanitation kits have been distributed so far. The Salvation Army mobile feeding unit is at Escalante Middle School, 141 Baker Lane.
