On Feb. 24, an unforeseen medical emergency occurred with Larry that no one could have expected.
The ten day stay at Penrose St. Francis hospital in Colorado Springs could have been more stressful if it were not for the wonderful friends, family and neighbors of this amazing community!
We can only say thank you to each and every one that took on the responsibility of caring for the livestock and pets; calling on a daily basis to see how Larry's recovery progressed; and sending the many prayers, cards, and well wishes.
The successful outcome in this medical emergency must also be contributed to the professional medical personnel of Mercy Regional Medical Center, Colorado Springs Penrose Hospital, Durango Fire and Rescue and Mayo Aviation.
Our family is so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.
