I am in Arizona because of a health issue, and had somehow failed to get my truck license plate tags mailed to me from my mailbox at The Mail Room.
I called the La Plata County Department of Motor Vehicles and asked for help.
After confirming my documentation, the very patient staff person said she would mail it out that day; in fact, she said no need to mail it since she was going by The Mail Room and would just drop it off.
I called this morning, and they are mailing my tags today. I want to publicly acknowledge the unsolicited kindness of the staff personally, and the quality of La Plata County employees in general.
