Typically in mid-February, snow would be covering the ground at the site of this sign about 20 miles north of Durango on U.S. Highway 550. There’s a chance prayers will be answered in the coming days. The National Weather Service predicts a 20 percent chance of precipitation Saturday in Durango and a 50 percent chance Sunday and Monday.
