David Genge joined the finance and accounting team at La Plata Electric Association as an accounting clerk.
Genge is from Orange County, California, and has degrees in accounting and management information systems at California State University, Fullerton.
He previously worked at Basic Four Inc., MSA Inc. and Ernst & Young in the Los Angeles area.
Genge and his family moved to northwest Arkansas in 1995 where he worked as an independent management consultant for five years and systems project manager in the IT department at J.B. Hunt Transport Services for 15 years.
Genge moved to Durango in early 2015.
