I’m looking at a stark difference between the BLM protesters in Buckley Park and the counterprotesters (“
The counterprotesters shouting “USA,” wearing guns on their hips, holding flags, presumably to say, we are the real Americans. Noticeably absent, however, was one face mask. Why is that?
In Buckley Park, you would have to look hard to find one BLM protester without a mask; they are demonstrating a respect for those around them. I’m all for respecting protesting for what you believe but I’m also respecting those who respect the health of those around them. It would be nice to see that from the flag-waving, gun-toting counterprotesters.
