The Hisatsinom Chapter of the Colorado Archaeology Society will present a lecture by Brian Yaquinto, “Rediscovering the Fremont of Northwest Colorado,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, 515 N. Park St., in Cortez.
The talk will present new research, some with unexpected results, about the Fremont culture in Northwest Colorado from data collected by the Bureau of Land Management White River Field Office.
