The city of Durango’s schedule for the Memorial Day holiday Monday:
City administrative offices will be closed, including City Hall, River City Hall, Police Station and Substation, Transit Center, Greenmount Cemetery offices and the Parks and Recreation administrative offices.Lake Nighthorse will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with all eligible watercraft permitted, including motorboats with a green seal and paperwork. For details about Lake Nighthorse Recreation Area, visit www.DurangoGov.org/LakeNighthorse.The Durango-La Plata County Airport administrative offices will be closed. The airport will be operating normally, with commercial flights both arriving and departing as scheduled.Commercial and residential trash and recycling pickup will occur as scheduled. The Recycle Center will be closed.Durango Transit routes will not operate Monday. The Transit Center will be closed.Parking at meters is free downtown Saturday through Monday.Durango Public Library will provide curbside pickup from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
