The Cortez Christmas Bird Count will be held Dec. 30 at the Cortez Cultural Center, 25 Market St.
Participants should arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. to receive route assignments. The bird count will start at 8 a.m.
The event is open to all birders and anyone interested in birds.
