Regarding Mike Sigman’s recent letter to the editor (Herald, Jan. 26):
Liberal is not a pejorative term, although some erroneously believe it is.
Nor is the word “boycott” used correctly. See the Oxford English Dictionary for a discussion of what boycott means.
Lastly, the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States guarantees the citizenry the right to protest and that apparently is what Sigman is condemning.
