Owlii.co has officially launched.
Owlii is a rewards-based website that allows customers to earn coupons and rewards from the simple act of sharing. New local companies are signing up daily so businesses are welcome to sign up for free. Home, Loan Center adds broker associate
The Home and Loan Center announces the addition of the newest broker associate to its team, Jeff Jaeger.
Jaeger has been in Durango for 37 years and brings his knowledge of construction and of the area. Jaeger will work with both buyers and sellers in residential, commercial and vacant land transactions in Southwest Colorado.

Keller Williams opens office in Farmington
The grand opening of Keller Williams new Business Center in Farmington will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at 3030 E. Main St., A-F.
The event will feature free food, drinks and music. Keller Williams Santa Fe’s newest office features San Juan County’s most talented real estate brokers. This group of 16 brokers brings extensive knowledge of the area’s diverse properties, and its residents.

FredrickZink announces hire
Jamie Avila has joined FredrickZink & Associates, PC, an accounting, tax and business-consulting firm in Durango, as a staff accountant. Avila joined the firm in 2015 as an intern and became a full staff member upon graduation.
A Florida native, Avila graduated from Fort Lewis College, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. Avila will concentrate in the areas of audit and accounting services.

Chamber to host membership party
The Durango Chamber of Commerce will host the fourth annual Membership Appreciation Party during Business After Hours from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at Santa Rita Park, 111 South Caminio del Rio.
The event will feature complimentary barbecue, beer and wine.
Ballet Durango adds faculty members
Ballet Durango announces the addition of two new faculty members for its fall semester.
Ashley Doyle-Lucas has a bachelor’s of fine arts in ballet performance from University of Utah and a doctorate in nutrition in sport. She danced with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet and Richmond Ballet. Doyle-Lucas will teach ballet, pointe and variations at Ballet Durango.
Malinda Lavelle has a bachelor’s in fine arts in dance from University of Arizona and worked in San Francisco as a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher. Lavelle will teach ballet and lyrical at Ballet Durango.
