Local First invites the community to celebrate Durango’s largest new mural at the Town Plaza Mural Celebration Party from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, at Town Plaza. Park in the main Town Plaza parking lot and walk around to the back the hardware store by the mural. There will be free food and an opportunity to thank the sponsors and artists for contributing this color to Durango.
The mural was a project of Local First, a nonprofit local, independent business alliance serving La Plata County. It was completed by lead artists Hayley Kirkman, Lexis Loeb and Matthew French-Holt with the help of over 30 community volunteers.
