Dennis Elkins, a former Fort Lewis College professor, came to town to do his self-written, one man show. Appreciation goes to Elkins, Equity actor, director and former chairman of FLC’s Theatre Department; Durango Arts Center; Alpine Bank; The Rochester Hotel; Judith Reynolds and The Durango Herald; organizer Karren Little and all those who attended a performance.
Elkins’ matinee and night shows of “box.” enveloped earnings that were shared with The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado and Durango Friends of the Arts for their Grant Fund to encourage the arts in our local communities.
