The Women’s Foundation of Colorado is conducting a statewide survey of women to better understand their experiences and needs.
The foundation is dedicated to helping women achieve economic self-sufficiency, helping girls stay in school and develop leadership skills, and helping single mothers receive education and job training to help them succeed.

The Old Fort Farm Stand will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday inside the Student Union at Fort Lewis College.
The stand will offer: greens, carrots, potatoes, pinto beans, basil pesto, beet hummus, zucchini bread, pumpkin chipper bread, gluten-free muffins, grass-fed beef and local pork.

The Durango Daybreak Rotary Club will hear a program by Dave Hagan about the Fort Lewis College cycling program at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
The public is welcome to attend and hear about the various teams, events and more concerning FLC’s cycling team.

A free art exhibition will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday under the Rotary Park gazebo.
In partnership with Animas Community Listening and Empowerment Project, the Earth.Water.Artist group will host this event which will showcase art work created by Navajo artists who have been impacted by the river contamination. This is also a time for the community of Durango and surrounding area to share their own experiences with the river spill. The art exhibition will focus on the aftermath of the Gold King Mine spill of the Animas and San Juan rivers. The event will feature a live painting event that allows the community to participate by way of painting a large canvas.

An Evening of Blue Grass in support of Spring Creek Horse Rescue will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Balcony Bar & Grill, 600 Main Ave.
Music will be performed by the Fellowship of the Strings. The event will feature a live auction. A $1 cover charge will go to support Spring Creek’s horses and programs.
