The Colorado Department of Transportation will repave a section of U.S. Highway 160 over three days, starting Monday, near Bayfield.
Crews will conduct work from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday on a one-mile section of highway from the Bayfield Parkway business entrance east of Gem Village to County Road 506.
Motorists will encounter traffic stops and 15- to 20-minute delays while crews repave eastbound and westbound lanes. Flaggers will direct vehicles through alternating, one-lane closures as work is conducted. The traveling public is urged to use caution, drive slowly and be aware of workers and equipment.
