San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Childbirth Center offers continued support to new mothers with a brand new “Mommy and Me Meet Up,” a group class for postpartum mothers, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fridays via Zoom for four weeks. The first session begins Feb. 5.
This is a weekly opportunity to meet with other local mothers and find support in a relaxed, informal setting. Topics covered during these sessions include any questions mothers encounter after the birth of their baby, including breastfeeding support; the fourth trimester; postpartum self-care; newborn and infant development and milestones; parent and infant engagement; sleeping and eating (for mothers and baby); and mom and baby movement.
Classes are free, compliments of San Juan Regional Medical Center.
