Preston Hardy and the Bayfield Wolverines are streaking toward the Intermountain League tournament. Hardy scored 13 points in the Wolverines’ victory against No. 10 Centauri on Saturday night at BHS to win their second consecutive game. BHS (10-8, 4-3 Intermountain League) will finish its regular season at 7 p.m. Thursday at home against Alamosa; the BHS girls (6-10, 1-6 IML) will host Alamosa at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. “This is huge; this one sets us up for next week and the week after (in the IML tournament),” BHS head coach Randy Stephens said Saturday.
