What a great opportunity to offer an important, practical, real-life, learning experience for some lucky Fort Lewis College students. The article “Fort Lewis imagines $4.5M cut in exercise” (Herald, Dec. 27), describes a potential budgetary cut exercise that is being assigned to five vice presidents of the school and others.
Why not also assign this exercise to the Fort Lewis class that would benefit the most from this kind of exercise?
Who knows, they may come up with better ideas than the vice presidents.
