A 33-year-old Durango woman was found dead early Wednesday, the result of an apparent suicide.
The woman was identified as Barbara Rose Calzado.
She was found about 5 a.m. hanging in her apartment in the east 100 block of 29th Street, said Joe Farmer, detective with the Durango Police Department.
Next of kin has been notified, he said.
