The city of Durango’s schedule for Veterans Day:
City administrative offices will be closed. This includes City Hall, River City Hall, Police Station and Substation, Transit Center, Greenmount Cemetery and Parks and Recreation administrative offices.The recreation center, Chapman Hill and Durango Gymnastics will operate during regular hours.The Durango-La Plata County Airport administrative offices will be closed. The airport will operate normally with commercial flights arriving and departing as scheduled.Durango Public Library will be closed.Commercial and residential trash and recycling pickup will occur as scheduled. All residential customers are asked to ensure trash and recycle cans are out by 8 a.m. for service. The Recycle Center will be closed Nov. 11.Durango Transit will operate Nov. 11. The Transit Center and Transit Center Customer Service window will be closed.Parking at meters is free downtown Nov. 11.
