Mountain Middle School students will host their drone exhibition, “Let It Fly,” from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the school, 108 W. 31st St.
Students in Josh Dalley’s sixth-grade class and Suzanne Jackson’s eighth-grade class worked in mixed grade-level groups to design and build a drone for one of three purposes: acrobatics, speed or payload.
Students also created infographics addressing current issues about drone use and podcasts explaining the science of flight.
The public is welcome to attend flight competitions.
