Durango Herald Facebook reader Candice Smith submitted this week’s winning Caption This! headline: “When shopping for fish, only the freshest will do.”
The second-place caption was: “The wild cart attempts to return to its place of birth to spawn and create thousands of new carts” from reader Crystal Rickett.
This week’s photo was sent in by Theresa Heller, who took a picture of a shopping cart next to a goose on the banks of the Animas River.
